Residence Trivento is set on a peaceful hillside, close to the beach of Arco Naturale. It offers spacious apartments and a wide range of sports facilities, including 2 swimming pools. The residence is surrounded by olive trees and greenery. The centre of Palinuro is 3.5 km away. A car is highly recommended to all guests. At the Trivento Residence you will find a tennis court, volleyball court, and a football pitch. There is also archery, table tennis, and bowls. The swimming pools are open between April and October. During the summer (from June until September) there is a mini club for children and an entertainment programme. You will find a snack bar in the sports centre, which is open until 24:00. The residence also features a free car park and free Wi-Fi access. The friendly staff can recommend excellent local restaurants and organise boat trips and excursions to Cilento National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During summer the residence may only be bookable for long stays of 3 or more nights.

Palinuro is a picturesque fishing village lying at the foot of Cape Palinuro in the southern part of the Cilento coast in the Campania region. According to tradition, the name of the town came from Virgil’s Aeneid. The mythological figure of Palinurus, who was Aenea’s helmsman, fell into the sea and was killed by the barbaric local inhabitants. Today, Palinuro is an important seaside resort where visitors can explore the colourful shops and enjoy genuine Mediterranean cuisine at the numerous farm-houses. The town offers a perfect combination of myth, history, civilization and nature for an unforgettable holiday. The Cilento National Park offers a variety of different excursions to the enchanting medieval villages of Pisciotta, Camerota and San Severino and to the archaeological areas of Velia, Roccagloriosa and Paestum, with its Greek temples.
